Glass panels are inserted into an aluminium bottom glazing channel, which is then filled with construction grout. If your particular installation requires handrails, we will mount them on top of the glass, or to the side using brackets. The channel can be fixed onto concrete or steel structures – we advise against fixing the channel to timber.

The channel series balustrade system can only be used if the balcony has drainage for water to flow, as there are no gaps under the glass. So, for instance, water running over the edge of the balcony will not be possible.

As for profiles and finishes; the bottom channel is 75mm wide x 95mm high and can be powder coated to match window frames and other components. Our handrails are available in square, round, rectangular or flat profiles, and you can choose from a polished stainless steel or aluminium powder coated finish.
